Another Hotel I focused on while some of the class were in Amsterdam was the Das Stue Hotel in Berlin, Germany. I feel this is a very environmentally focused design, because of the materials and colours used within the designs. Especially the flooring in the Dining Area (top picture). To me the flooring in that room resembles leaves, and the veins on a leaf.   The fact that you can see some of the flower chair design which Patricia designed with Magistretti in 1996 shows just how much of an impact that time of her life had on her and still continues to do so today. I see the flower chair design also in the Dining Area of the hotel. I feel she has used the original design of the flower chair and adapted the design to fit more with the aesthetics of the hotel.
