SKETCHBOOK – Original Lamp design.

Lewis took inspiration from a Seventies style lam designed by Massoni. He liked the curved shade and had looked into ways he could re-create this to give it a modern look. He found an old lamp at the Tayside Re-Use Centre and had dismantled the lamp and put it back together in a slightly different way to create a new modern 70s style lamp.

Lewis had used wire mesh to create a base for the lamp. He used the shade from the lamp and turned it upside down to create a second base for the lamp. He painted the base black and kept the pole metal using the naked bulb as the modern inspiration.
